A 15-amino-acid peptide derived from human gastric juice that activates growth hormone receptors, promotes VEGF-driven angiogenesis, and restores structural integrity across connective tissues.

Mechanism of Action

BPC-157 upregulates growth hormone receptor expression and stimulates VEGF-driven angiogenesis to accelerate vascular and tissue regrowth. It activates the FAK-paxillin pathway to promote fibroblast migration in tendons and ligaments, while modulating nitric oxide synthesis for enhanced blood flow. Its gastroprotective effects operate through prostaglandin pathways, offering systemic repair support.
