Mechanism of Action

Epitalon activates telomerase (hTERT) expression, leading to telomere elongation and reduced replicative senescence in somatic cells. It normalizes melatonin secretion via pineal gland stimulation and modulates cortisol rhythms through the hypothalamic-pituitary axis. Its antioxidant action reduces lipid peroxidation and increases superoxide dismutase activity, supporting longevity at the cellular level.
